3.45 KemptonLES BLEUS 13/2I don’t want to put anyone off DEVOTED QUEEN and if the market is right she will win going away, hover the value lies with LES BLEUS who ran well in a handful of Group races las term and breeding sugests she will be better at 3.4TH

3.35 DoncasterTHE GATEKEEPER 10/1This cavalry charge is always a competitive affair and this year is no different just 45 points cover the top 16 (of 21) on OSR. THE GATEKEEPER is my first choice a good winner of the Balmoral Handicap at Ascot when last seen and gets his favoured soft going, another with a good chance is LIBERTY LANE who is a CD winner and will appreciate the going. An honouree mention for DUTCH DECOY who I have a small share in, he did us proud last season and high hopes for him again, he probably needs this race and could do with the ground drying out, I will have my token bet on him as an owner but I will leave it up to you to make your own decision.

3.10 AscotGALLANT LION 6/1On a 5 timer, improving with every run, more to come.
3.20 LeopardstownAFLAILA 5/1Possibly the top 5 on OSR have a squeak in this but a lot depends on whether Auguste Rodin has recovered from whatever ailed him when tailed off last time. KING OF STEEL may turn out to be the best of the classic generation in this but I am going to plump for the top ranked on LR, HS SR and OSR AFLAILA who won well at York on his first try at this sort of trip.
3.35 HaydockSHAQUILLE 11/8Superstar. 6 wins in 7 starts including Group 1’s last twice, has a tendency to lose ground at the start by rearing when coming out of the stalls so there is no telling how good he could be if getting off to a level break.

4.10MARIES ROCK 14/1LOSSIEMOUTH will be popular and I wouldn’t put anyone off her but she would have been more suited to 2 miles and is not guaranteed to stay (if she does she wins), plus 4/6 is no value. One that has stamina in spades is the 2022 winner of this race MARIES ROCK she won over 3 miles at Doncaster last time after a year without a win and that will have set her up for another crack at this.PU (LOSSIEMOUTH 8/13 Won)
4.50EAGLE FANG 16/1I have a soft spot for this race after finding the 80/1 winner Jeff Kidder in 2021. EAGLE FANG was Grade 3 placed in December but the bit of form that stands out is his win at Naas last time was in the race that has produced 4 of the last 5 winners and 3 of them won it.12th
5.30EMBASSY GARDENS 2/1Better chaser than he ever was over hurdles, now 2 from 2 over fences including an easy Grade 3 romp last time, sets a pretty good standard and can give the Mullins team another win.2ND
